I have the same issue on my T500 which is of 1980 vintage. I contacted proctor who after being passed through various companies informed me that there are no new spares available for the boom as it has been out of production for some time.

Suggestion was to have the old one welded or to change to slab reefing.

I have done a couple of seasons with a safety strop tied from the mainsheet to one of the top eyes just in case. It has worked fine so far but is not looking healthy for another season.

If there are some spares going - I would be gratful if I could put my name into the hat for one as i have exhausted all other angles I think!

Peter
