I remember some time ago a guy wrote to Sailing Today saying he used the self adhesive copper based sheet material used as an antifouling ( cant recall its name)with considerable success. He actually obtained a sample from the manufacturer which was more than enough for the job!!!

My TS 240 on a mud berth has similar prob to you so may try this myself.
