Very interested in all your comments on oversize props. When I bought my 300, it had a totally knackered 12 inch folding prop, the blades swinging independant of each other, often only one would deploy, giving massive vibration. This was a 12/8 left. I then went to a 3 blade fixed, which under sail slowed the boat too much, it felt as if I was towing a dustbin behind. I now have a Gori 13/8 two bladed geared folder. The boat is fast enough to win our club races, but do you think it is too much prop for my YSE8 engine? there is 1.5 inch clearance between prop and hull. Your comments please.
