Hi Anders, Hmmm, NOW you tell me. Perhaps I should have complained about my table while you were aboard this year - you could have told me then. But probably I wasn't quite so disillusioned with it as later, when my patience was gone and I could have dealt with it as we did with the fisherman anchor in Veruda anchorage.

I saw something similar at the Friedrichshafen Boat Show in southern Germany recently but it was a very silly price - even more than yours, but I must admit I was impressed. It had a vee bracket that would have fitted unobtrusively on the forward side of the cockpit well and an L-shaped articulated arm could slot into it when needed and assume any position, projecting back into the cockpit. I dithered about buying it but the price put me off.

Advantages of the one I have is that other than the table top the only thing to store is the ss tube, which could fit in anywhere, also it should not get in the way when passing in and out of the companionway, unlike the one I saw at the boatshow. Not to mention the price at EUR 100 cheaper than yours. I'm a cheap sort of guy, but you already knew that .....

Best, Brian.
