With regards to the overall winner calculation (which is not really *that* important, people seem to cherish their A-team trophy much more):

Should the AGM decide this system is too complicated / they don't understand it / they want it tested and it can't be before IVDA, can you think of a simple alternative for compiling overall results? Personally, I think the new system is good, but the main problem seems to be that some people don't trust it, have difficulty imagining how it will work out...

E.g. would it be possible to determine an overall winner by the same method that currently determines team-winners, e.g. give 2 points for each round made (per team obviously) and then extra for placings in the final?

Just a thought, might be good to think about these things before a lot of unprepared people show up at the IVDA meeting and a bizarre compromise that noone wants comes out... (like in the case of the off-beat)
