I should say that this issue arises because the chair chose to take the entire proposal as a single vote, so IVDA AGM had choice between old format and team match format (including Team marking.) IMTM only came up as an alternative after the IVDA meeting.

Having not seen the minutes, despite asking for them, and asking IVDA Pres and Ali for what happened at the meeting on this point I can't gauge the meetings feeling. I believe that the new team match format is a huge advance, but disagree on team marking, and asked that IVDA GM consider this issue individually.
