To give a slightly different perspective on the money spent on security. In 2008 we spent $4210.00 out of the total budget of $227,500.00 on security. For 2009 we haven't spent any, so I have to use the 2008 #. In 2009, so far we have spent $3267 to replace pool furniture. We have budgeted: $4500 for neighborhood events $2500 for meetings $3000 for a newsletter (that doesn't get delivered to anyone) I just thought when you compare some of these numbers it was interesting, and tends to show the importance that the board has put on security in relation to other things.
