I was just looking a little more at the budget. To give a slightly different perspective on the money spent on security. In 2008 we spent $4210.00 out of the total budget of $227,500.00 on security. For 2009 we haven't spent any, so I have to use the 2008 #.

In 2009, so far we have spent $3267 to replace pool furniture.
We have budgeted:
$4500 for neighborhood events
$2500 for meetings
$3000 for a newsletter (that doesn't get delivered to anyone)

I just thought when you compare some of these numbers it was interesting, and tends to show the importance that the board has put on security in relation to other things. And these are just some of the small ticket items.
