There should be a plan of preparation that is the standard for our teens and our state should cheer for our teens just as they do the Miss contestant. This is by no means directed at Kati because she just took this program over. We have needed a change for a long time and anyone of our girls could have won in the past. We are California!! Next year MAOT is 2 weeks sooner. California teens need to come to MCOT ready for the national pageant, there is no time to "prep" anything. And for the record, in the 9 years of MAOT, California has had a first runner up, a fourth runner up, two girls in the top 10 and another in the top 12. We haven't had a winner yet but we haven't done too bad either. | |
