Ears swiveling wildly to take in every last detail of this new and exciting place, the Standardbred strutted along at his handler's shoulder with all the enthusiasm of a child led off to his first day of school. Where was he going? Where were the other horses he had trailered with? Ah, there they were! Nickering a greeting to everyone who would listen, the bay followed Amber quietly into the stall, remembering his manners when in close quarters with humans. They were so easy to step on, afterall! Proud head ducked to aid in the removal of the halter, he turned to his food with a shake of his head and a pleased toss of his tail as he dipped eager lips to the tasty offering in the feed bucket.
