  My spidey sense has been kicking in about Denise and nursing and apparently my feelings and premonitions for Denise's future career are on the right track. So here you go for Episode 14 which will air on September 13:
  
  "Pamela get answers to her questions about Chase; Denise pursues a new career as an EMT; Jeremy runs into trouble in Iraq; and Roxy makes a decision about her future with Trevor."
  
  
  WooHoo! I'm so excited to see Denise going for it.I just love seeing Denise as a nurse and how cool would that be for her to be an EMT and putting her nursing skills to use once again. Here she comes to save the day...LOL. I wonder if we'll see that EMT guy again who maybe makes the suggestion to her and tells her she's a hell of a nurse and it would be a shame to let that go to waste. Now, I've got my 2x4 already in hand if Frank gives her any trouble again...LOL. I'm sorry I just can't relax with him yet and he better not revert back to controlling Frank. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Frank has learned his lesson, but we'll have to wait and see what he does. Just remember Frank, I'm ready to give you a good solid wake-up call if it's needed...LOL.

  Hey there! Sorry to push down KH's post, but I've been creeping around this board for quite some time now, but I decided to come out of lurkdom to become part of the group. Just so you know, I'm (obviously) a huuuuge CBell fan, having seen every episode of JAG and now am an avid Army Wives watcher. Why else would I watch, if not for her?
  
  And now that I have you here, I have a question to ask, since this seems to be one of the few active boards 'round these parts. I read a JAG fanfic a while ago, and I can't remember for the life of me what it was called, but I do know that Harm and Mac go on some sort of undercover mission, and near the end, they are found out, and are almost disposed of. The specific scene I remember is Harm and Mac, aboard a boat, bound together with rope, and being dragged off the boat somehow. It's an intense scene, that's all I remember. Any help would be immensely appreciated!

• Hello Everyone! Well we had another Great Episode last night and I have to say, I was right in my diagnosis of diabetes for Claudia Joy. I didn't post it here last week because I didn't want to give it away if I was right. The symptoms were very obivious and like I said last week my sister has it. Well let's get on with the discussion. -- KH, 18:44:43 08/24/09 Mon
  
  As usual we'll talk about my favorite character right off the bat...LOL. I have a feeling we are getting some clues as to what's going to happen with Denise in the future. And by this I mean "nursing". Like I've said before, I just love Denise nursing. She has such a wonderful bedside manner and such tenderness and compassion and really knows her stuff. I think the Ambulance medic was very impressed with Denise and even asked for her help to stabalize Claudia Joy. Michael was still a little cold to Denise when they got to the hospital, but it sure was nice to see Emalynn show some care and concern at how Denise was. Then when the Ambulance/Medic told Michael that it wasn't him he should be thanking, he should be thanking Denise and that she was a hell of a nurse, I think Michael was speechless and didn't know what to say. But the wheels were definitely turning going by the expression on his face. Once again, Denise was alone in a moment of tramatic experience. It would be nice if one time Frank would be around to be there for Denise and show her some concern and realize like Michael did that anyone's life can be taken at any time, not just a soldiers. So very true and it was nice to hear it expressed out loud in different ways from Claudia Joy, to Michael, to Denise. Good, good stuff. It was nice to see Jeremy so happy that his parents were back together and then later when he saw his friend hurt and too realized that life is precious, call his mother and check in on her. I really love this Mother/Son relationship with Denise and Jeremy and I've been missing seeing it. I hope we get to see more scenes of these two in the future when Jeremy comes home. After what their relationship has been through, there is such a love and bond there. Again Good, good stuff.
  
  Not really anything to comment on with Pamela or Roland and Joan this week because they weren't on much. But what I would like to say is, how much I've grown to love the friendship between Roland and Denise. They seem very in tune and out of all of the tribe, Roland was the only one to express concern over Denise both at Claudia Joy's house and again when he stopped by to give her the soothing salts (I think they were epson salts) because she was sore. Denise said she would soak in them later. It was so nice to hear Roland express his care and concern for Denise and tell her she too takes care of and is there for everyone and puts others before herself, not just Claudia Joy. He let her know she's important too and that she matters and wanted to make sure she was taking care of herself as well. Everyone was fawning over Claudia Joy so much and she wasn't that hurt, it seemed that Roxy, Pamela and Claudia Joy forgot about Denise. So again this week GO ROLAND...LOL!
  
  We had some sibling rivalry between TJ and Finn this week, and my heart went out to TJ. There was so much focus on Finn and his intellegence and new school and friends that TJ was feeling very left out. It was cute to see Trevor and TJ spending some quality time together and doing something special just for him. It made him feel special as well and that he had something that Finn didn't. Way to Go Dad! We saw the difference in lifestyles between the LeBlancs and Finn's new friends family with his Au Pair. Such an honest and typical question from Finn to Roxy later on asking if they were poor. I thought Roxy handled that very well and was basically saying, it doesn't matter how much money you have, you can be very rich and blessed in life with food, a roof over your heads, clothes for your body and the love and bond of family and loved ones. Another example of what Denise was basically saying to Roland when he was at her house, "Considering what could have happened, I feel very lucky. In fact I keep thinking about all the things I have, my health, my family, my friends. I'm so blessed Roland, I really am. Life is good." Such true words and well said Denise! Another shout out to the new writers this season, they are doing such a great job. Such great messages put into these episodes this season.
  
  Michael and Claudia Joy were once again showed us what a great team they are in their marriage. Just so there for each other and in tune with each other and appreciative of each other in times of happiness and crisis. I was also truly happy that Michael went to Denise's house and thanked her for saving Claudia Joy and apologizing and telling her she was welcome in their home anytime. And Denise graciously handling it and telling Michael she understood. I was so happy to see it because you know I've had my 2x4 out for Michael the last couple of weeks...LOL. He redeemed himself a bit this week, so I'll lay it aside for now...LOL. Now I'm still waiting for Frank to come clean and apologize to Denise as well. Come on Frank. I did feel that Claudia Joy was a bit dramatic about her diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. My sister has Type 2 diabetes as well as a few of my friends, as well as many many other people in the world and with the proper diet, exercise and medication they do great. Claudia Joy will be fine and I'm sure we'll see her adjust to it as time goes on.
  
  It looks like next week we get to Pamela will start to express her worry for Chase, when he still hasn't shown up at home. I'm wondering if Chase is hurt and can't come home yet. I'm sure it will be resolved soon. And it looks like a bit of romance for Roland and Joan before she gets ready to deploy.

  • Hiya KH! Agree with you on how cool it was to see D-girl back in nurse mode. Hope its something we are gonna see more of in the future. Love D & Roland's friendship, you hit the nail on the head, he seemed to be the only friend who thought about her too, not just CJ. Loved Trevor & TJ fishing, Trevor is a sweet man & a good dad. So glad that Michael went to D's & told her he was sorry & that he also thanked her, & I agree with you its time for Frank to also come clean & tell D that he's sorry too. He's as much to blame as she is for marriage falling apart, she's said she's sorry its time for Frank to do the same. Best part of the ep was no Frank, like last week he wasn't around. Though yeah it was tough to see D be alone again, Frank is rarely ever there for her. CJ was a bit of a drama queen, you can control diabetes & lead a normal life.   • Another enjoyable summary KH. I always noticed the bond between Roland and Denise. He was so encouraging about her return to nursing and they both just hit if off. I felt for Dee just like after the Hump Bar bombing. She always seems so alone. It is true what Roland said, she puts others first too. I was glad she did not freeze in the accident situation like she felt she had at the bar incident. Michael at least had compassion enough to be aware that Denise was alone and I was glad he sent Emmalin to be with her. Nice to see the flowers from Frank as we saw nothing from him that showed concern re: the Hump Bar incident. Ironical how both Jeremy and Denise had been through a traumatic experience and how both shielded the other from knowing about it. Denise could be channelling CB on her health family and friends statement and how blessed she is.   • Once again KH loved your synopsis and agree totally. I also had guessed at diabetes, being that I'm a type 1 diabetic for 35 years now. I too think they (the writers) went a little over the top on CJ's reaction to her diagnosis. I do recall having cried and carried on when I was diagnosed but then again I was only 13 at the time. It just seemed a little too dramatic for me. I did feel bad for TJ that he couldn't get a word in about his day at school. The bonding between him and Trevor was a really nice touch. I missed Frank not being there to comfort Denise. She always seems to be alone to deal with these instances herself. I was glad to see how Roland was w/her. Go Roland!   • Well i'm late with my response this week, but another splendid review this week KH! I agree with everything you said. I'm a bit tired of CJ being a drama queen and she so overreacted in the scene with Michael at the end. I mean come on, while diabeties is serious, with diet, meds etc. you live a normal life and it can even get better. She was acting like she had cancer or aids or something. I was ticked off at the rest of the tribe for not being there once again for Denise, thankfully she has Roland. Denise was in the car wreck too people the only difference was CJ got 14 stitches and Denise didn't. There was too big of a fuss over CJ imo. Other than that i loved it. • I'm a little late today with my post, been a little busy. So we'll get started with Episode 11 and see what Everyone thought. -- KH, 20:49:46 08/17/09 Mon
  
  First off we'll start with the Senators wife. What a little pistol she was...LOL. She was there to do a dedication, but I think she also had a fun-filled agenda of her own. She was definitely a Merry Widow wasn't she. I knew Denise and Claudia Joy were in trouble from the get go...LOL. She was so right though in what she said to the girls when she left though, you do have to be spontaneous once in awhile and not so serious or such worry warts. What was it that Cassie said in the Good Witch, "Life's a journey, not a destination". In other words stop and smell the roses every once in a while otherwise life will just pass you by before you know it. I think that's good advice. I mumbled a few choice words at Michael through the TV when he rolled his eyes after Claudia Joy told him Denise would be helping her with the Senators wife. I'm quite annoyed with him right now...LOL. Alot of telltale signs of Claudia Joys upcoming issue with her blurred vision and being thirsty all the time as well as tired. I won't say what my guess is for her health issue, but going by the symptoms I've got it pretty nailed down I think. My Mom and sister and I all agreed what we think it is and both my Mom and sister have it. So I'll wait and see if we're right next week. Not alot of Denise this week, but next weeks episode looks promising for more awesome performances by Catherine with the car accident and all.
  
  We had Finn and Roxy going to the Fordham academy for Admissions. Roxy was more nervous than Finn...LOL. I think Roxy went in a little nervous and defensive, thinking they were going to look down on her and judge her because of her job and education. It was so nice to see that that she was wrong about that. I got a really good vibe from the Admissions director when she was interviewing Roxy, and I thought she would be fair. She didn't seem snobby or judgemental at all and kept telling Roxy she understood. I'm glad to see she proved me wrong. As far as Trevor and Day, isn't it funny how people can misconstrue someones life and think others have it so much easier than they do. I think Trevor opening up to Day about his past really had an affect on Day and got him to thinking about his own self imposed pity party. Never assume to know what someone else's life or upbringing was like, 9 times out of 10 I'd bet you'd be wrong. It was nice to see Day go to Trevor and apologize and those two talk it out and Trevor offering to take Day to his sessions with Terrence. I think Trevor's words got through to Day about him being in control of his own life and destiny. He can chose to be a better man than his father. I was also glad to see Day was open to giving Roland a shot at his session, good for him. Now Trevor won't be deployed he'll be a recruiter. Roxy was plenty happy with that wasn't she...LOL.
  
  Pamela and her daughter had a few growing pains last night didn't they. Boy can I relate to that having raised two daughters of my own...LOL. And then when she came home from the dance and rolled her eyes about how immature boys are and only wanting to see who could make the loudest farting noise with their armpits was priceless. Pamela tried so hard to not laugh. Awww, the trials of your child starting to grow up and wanting to grow up fast, sigh. I think they are building up an upcoming storyline for Pamela for the upcoming episodes. I feel a sense of forboding from some othe the talk with Roxy last night. Like maybe something is wrong with Chase, because he was supposed to be home. I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see I guess.
  
  Well, Roland wasn't enebriated last night at the Hump Bar, just in a really good mood...LOL. I thought it was so touching what he did for Joan so that she won't miss a day of her daughters life and they can see her as well. It was such a great idea and sweet to boot. I was also happy to see that Roland didn't let me down in the professinal department as well. He didn't betray doctor client priviledge with Day to Joan. I'm so glad, because I was a bit worried there during the whole Day file episode on Terrence's desk. Thanks Roland for not letting me down...LOL.
  
  As far as the previews go, some good stuff coming. From the looks of the preview neither Denise or Claudia Joy are seriously hurt, but we get to find out Claudia Joy's health issue. Like I said above, I have a prediction, so I'll see next week if I'm right. It looks like we'll be in for some good scenes between Denise and Claudia Joy and Denise the nurse once again shines through while she takes care of her best friend until the ambulance gets there. Can I just say that I hope Frank or someone is there for Denise, because it always seems that when something tramatic happens to Denise she's always alone, so I'm hoping she won't be alone next week.
  
  I hope Everyone enjoyed the Episode last night. As usual Bring on the Next Episode already...LOL. I can't believe we're at Episode 12 next week already. Man the time is just flying by.

  • KH thanks for another great review this week. I agree with everything you said and I can pretty much guarantee that I too know what's wrong with CJ. It's pretty obvious by the thirst, blurred vision and tiredness. The Hump bar was hopin, but I have to say I have no clue who Jack Ingraham is. I don't follow country music so I'm clueless. The only other thing I'll say about CJ is that if I have to hear one more episode of how perfect she is I might have to shave my head,hahaha. I though Dee carried off her end of the cordial behaviour and think she will do whatever it takes not to jeopardize Frank's career right now. I loved how Roland reached out to Joan again and how this time she truly appreciated it and reciprocated back. Great for Roxy to be validated for a change. I think she is doing a superb job with her sons. Michael could be so forgiving to Evan and not to Denise whom he has known for such a long time?
