• Good Morning Everyone! We had another keeper last night with Episode 11 IMHO so let's get down to it and see what everyone thought... -- KH, 17:27:58 08/10/09 Mon
  
  
  First we'll start off with Denise and Frank. They continue to work on their relationship and who knew Denise could cut hair...LOL. I cracked up when she said, "You're sideburns are straight but your head is crooked"...LOL. My intuition was correct in that Frank got a promotion to Lt. Colonel and he gets to stay on post. It was nice to hear him say to Denise that "For the first time he wished he could disobey orders and stay home with her." Never thought I'd see the day and he got his wish on top of that. No 2x4's this week for Frank...LOL, now I just need him to come clean. Can I just say GO DENISE!!!!! It was so cool to see her stand up for herself and confront Michael with his actions and treatment of her (he was so rude). Michael tends to get on his self righteous high horse more often of late and it's about time he was taken to task for it. And Denise was the woman to do it and she did it in a very mature and respectful way which left no doubt in Michaels head where he stands with Denise either. Again, GO DENISE!!!
  
  
  Who knew Lucky was a little thief...LOL. He had a plethura of items in his stash buried in the yard, from a brazierre, to a pot holder and Pamela's wallet...LOL. I could really feel for Pamela last night because I've lost my wallet before and I have to say your heart just drops right into your shoes. It's almost as if your whole identity is lost and you have to prove who you are, it's just awful. I'm glad it worked out for her. It's also quite obvious that Pamela isn't a dog lover either, so I might have to go and bring Lucky home with me, he's just too cute.
  
  Roxy's stray with a broken wing turned out to have a bit of a hard life. I think there's alot of history there which we weren't privy to, and I think Stella has alot more work to do to reconnect with her son than what she's done to date. I liked Viola in this episode and I have a feeling she's going to be a very important mentor to Roxy as well. It looks like we're going to be getting alot of musical entertainment in the future at the Hump Bar.
  
  Not a whole lot of Claudia Joy tonight other than her using her command influence once again for Pamela (this seems to be a pattern for Pamela and I don't know, I'm thinking this just isn't quite right to be doing this all the time). I was right there with Claudia Joy when she took Michael to task for his behavior. He was very rude and should not be allowed to behave that way. He just seems to be a bit self righteous of late and I'm not liking this in Michael at all. Let's just say for once I didn't have my 2x4 out for Frank, but it was definitely out for Michael...LOL. When he came to Claudia Joy at the end, did anyone get the impression from Claudia Joy's expression that she was wondering what happened to make him apologize to her for his behavior. It just kind of left you going Hmmm.
  
  As far as Joan and Roland, I have to say I was giving Roland a huge High Five as well for taking Joan to task for her behavior last night. While I understand it's hard for her with her deployment coming up, she had no right to make it Roland's issue and jump all over him for everything. Joan reminded me alot of Frank last night with her behavior. I remember watching a video with Wendy Davis on the Lifetime site, where she says that she and Frank are alot alike and kind of cut from the same cloth. It definitely showed last night. I was saying, "Way to go Roland", when he gave her the reality check she needed about it being her choice to deploy instead of staying home without consulting him and that she's not the only one her deployment affects. Good For You Roland, Joan definitely needed to hear that.
  
  Again another Great Episode! I can't believe we're coming up on Episode 11 next week, but like I say every week, Bring it On!
  
  Next weeks previews looks like we are in for a bit of fun with the Senators wife. Her pinching that soldier in the butt and her facial expression as well as the soldiers and Denise and Claudia Joy's was priceless...LOL. I think Denise and Claudia Joy are going to have their hands full with her and it should be Great Fun! It also looks like the Hump Bar is going to be happenin place next week, with another country singer guest star and a bar fight to boot. Did anyone else recognize the soldier in civilian clothes who punches the sailor...it's Day, the soldier from last week who was seeing Terence. Also, was it me or did Roland seem to be a bit enebriated at the Hump Bar. Either that or he was in a really really good mood...LOL.

  • Hi KH keep em coming, another great review. I was happy to see your 2x4 is an equal opportunity employer, LOL! CB and TS are knocking their relationship resolution out of the park. So credible. Such tenderness, affection, and sharing. Frank looks like a kid in the candy store and Dee is trying hard to regain her dignity. It took guts to swallow her pride at dinner and thank Michael, only to be rudely rebuffed. She did not force her way into his home she was an invited guest. His behaviour was appalling and he owes Dee a big apology. For Denise to return with her head held high to stake her allegiance to Frank's advancement took a lot of guts and showed she has class. It is hard to redeem one's reputation once it is sullied so my hat is off to her. Pamela needs a SL with more depth. Last week she basically cut flowers and this week it was wallet searching.   • Hey KH another great monday review, these are so much fun and like Jubellant said keep them coming. I was so there cheering Denise on last night while she put Michael in his place. She really was so strong and looked him right in the eye. I agree as well about Michael getting too big for his britches. Lets take it down a notch Michael you're getting a tad bit annoying. Roland was equally ranked right up there with Denise tonight in him calling Joan on her behavior. She was a tad bid witchy last night and needed to be reeled in. Loved Lucky he's just to adorable for words. You were spot on about the promotion for Frank and that will probably be good for their marriage. Thought D-girl handled herself beautifully with Michael, he's an insufferable jerk. Like how calm & cool she was, but she got her point across!   • I get so excited for your Monday reviews. I completely agree with you Denise review....the whole time she was talking to Michael, I'm like, YOU GO GIRL!!!!! She is definitely coming in to her own. I'm glad to see it's not just about her standing up to Frank but standing up for herself. And Michael, everytime I see him or he goes to say something, I cringe. It's like, what is going to come out of his mouth now. I do wonder about CJ though. She seems to be using her "command influence" more and more of late and wonder if it'll eventually backfire on her. I also agree with the review of Pamela....more storyline for her please.   • I want to take a moment and comment on one of the better scenes on the show. This is the scened where CB is left alone at the table and the camera pans away to make a point of that fact. It's good camera work, but it also does a great job of showing the character's isolation. even though there has been a thawing, remember that Denise is still occasionally isolated and as the scene with the general indicates is still kicking herself for her infidelity. Great scene and later on a good moment with the general. • Wow, how Great was Episode 9 last night guys. I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite of the Season so far. All around Great stuff and such a nice smooth flow to it. Let's be off and running with a fun discussion..... -- KH, 17:55:16 08/03/09 Mon
  
  First of all I'll start with my favorite of course Denise. What a pleasure it is to see Denise smile. Man, that poor girl has been through the ringer and it's so nice to see her coming out the other side. I just love seeing Denise the nurse/nurturer. I'm hoping and also confident that we'll be seeing Nurse Denise back in action down the road in some form. She's just too good to let all that healing ability, nurturing and compassion go to waste and not be utilized. She loves giving back and I think we'll get to see her in action again down the road. More dates for Denise and Frank and again I have to say I just love her clothes...LOL. I'm also seeing a more confident, laid back and communicative Denise than in the past. She is talking to Frank and expressing her opinions and feelings so well. I loved how she was in tune to Frank's feelings about her motorcycle and with what it seemed as much thought, came to the decision to sell the bike, because while she loves the bike she loves Frank more (that's huge). I do have to say I thought I had to get out my 2x4 again this week for Frank when he was acting quite the jerk again after Denise told him she sold her bike. He was reverting back once again to his usual all about me/how this is gonna affect me attitude and was acting a bit the petulant child about it. Denise very patiently tried to explain things to Frank, she stood up to him and told him not to put words in her mouth (GO DENISE!). And then again Frank had to have the last word and act the child stomping his foot with "I'm not the one who sold the bike." UGGGGH...I was really biting my tongue...LOL. I'm liking the subltey with which they are getting across Denise's opinion of Frank and the majority of the viewers opinion of Frank in the conversations. It's almost like the new writers realized the mistake the earlier writers did in penning Frank in such an unlikeable way. Denise was frustrating, but she didn't back down or give up. Then Michaels words to Frank after their run had a light bulb affect of Frank (Hellooooo....LOL. Michael saying to Frank, "Great situational awareness. It's all about being able to adjust right, know when things aren't working." His facial expression said it all and for once he was intuned with Denise at the forefront of his mind and was distracted for a moment from the military. It was almost like he realized that what he was doing in his relationship with Denise wasn't working, and he needed to fix his way of thinking (Come on Frank, listen to your wife she's telling you everything you need to know...LOL). Him possibly realizing hey, my wife loves to ride, I'm gonna go get a bike, something we can share and do together and be a little spontaneous. I'm gonna give points for Frank on his lightbulb moments, but I still need him to apologize and come clean with Denise. I'm still holding out hope this is yet to come down the road and things continue to progress positively in their marriage. It's fun to see laughter and lightheartedness between these two instead of such angst and non-communication. It was sad to see at the end Frank getting his orders back to Iraq and Denise broken hearted because they are just finding their way back to each other. But, I'm still holding out hope that Frank won't be leaving and will get a new job on post. Once again I have to commend the writers on the way they are handling this storyline. They are really outdoing themselves on fixing the mess of last year and doing it in a very realistic way, slowly and lovingly. This is so much better than seeing these two rip each other apart week after week. I wouldn't be able to watch that. Again another wonderful performance by Catherine!
  
  The scenes with Haneen and the Holdens were very touching and I think they will all miss her very much. She brought alot of healing to this family without even realizing it. I'm actually going to miss her, she's so cute. Maybe she can come back for a visit in the future. It was nice to see Michael and Emmalyn talk things out. It was very touching and heartwarming which definitely brought a tear to my eye. Such great communication between these two tonight and now they can all finish healing. Again kudos to the writers for penning such great scenes and dialoge and great acting on the parts of Brian and Kaitlyn.
  
  Pamela wasn't on too much last night, but when she was on she's is just so funny. She screwed up the cookies so they had to make extra batches and eating the cookies adjusting for her error...LOL and now we also know that she doesn't have a green thumb either...LOL. Loved her line to Denise about calling Frank old fashioned, "He'll get over it, men are such babies just ask him to open a jar or something...LOLOLOL. She just cracks me up. And the look on all of their faces when Frank pulled up on the motorcycle and Roxy asking, "Was that really Frank"...LOL. It's so funny to me how they all have Frank pegged.
  
  OK, how many of you had it pegged from the beginning that Finn wasn't slow but wise beyond his years. I kinda had it pegged right away with his doodling and then rattling off his sums to Roxy. And then when Roxy told the teacher that Finn could look at her grocery list once and recite it back word for word backwards. Ummmm Helloooooo...LOLOLOL...why do some in the educational system always lean towards the conclusion that the child has a learning deficiency. When the principle said that Finn was bored out of his mind because he's advanced I was like, I knew it...LOL. Hopefully they'll be able to get him into one of the schools.
  
  Loved how Roland told Joan not to worry about cooking and just enjoy her time with the baby. I was like awwwww, love that. These two are also communicating much better these days and I do think Joan was fishing to see if Roland could get her more information about Daly. I have to say I agree with Roland, that the soldier should be able to chose which doctor he wants to see. It's too bad if they don't have the doctor/patient confidentiality with soldiers and doctors in the mititary, that just doesn't seem right. Daly was doing everything his superior officer told him to do and he just happened to pick a doctor off post. When Roland was in Terence's office staring at Daly's file I was like, "No don't do it Roland, don't compromise your principles to get info for your wife." I'm glad Terrence came in when he did because I'm not sure what Roland would have done.
  
  Again giving a Great Big Applause to the writers this Season for another amazing episode. And I also have to say that as the episode was progressing, I noticed it had such a smooth flow to it which reminded me a the director who has directed a few episodes in the past that flow so smoothly and are edited so well. I had my suspicions and I went back to the beginning credits to look and sure enough it was Joanna Kerns. I think she is just such a marvelous director and I love when she directs an episode of Army Wives.

  • I've just finished watching and have to agree that it was a fantastic episode, i am really loving this season, every episode has been great and it's getting better and better! I'm hoping that when Joan deploys that Michael will offer Frank Joan's job, that will keep him on the post!   • Hi KH loved the review and your points were so in tune with mine. Pamela's jar statement, Frank's internalizing and personalizing everything, Dee's glowing happiness, Finn's brilliance etc., yes even I felt like taking a 2 by 4 to Frank for a second there. I think what Roland said sort of made an impact on Dee's decision about men being visual and every time Frank saw that bike..... I knew Joanna Kerns would be directing this episode ahead of time so I was really looking fwd to see what she would do and she did it beautifully. Their marriage counsellor sort of got that Frank processes things in a military way, so what's the mission etc. So loved how his AHA moment came because of a military statement.   • I loved loved EVERYTHING about this ep= Frank and D!!!!!!!!!!!! MOTORCYCLE BABY!!!!! :-) Once again CB and her peformance just freakin amazing- those facial expressions-when she is excited Frank wants her back home to live to her sadness to his deployment- only CB can do that lower lip quiver movement.   • Great review KH. i do not think as a Capt. Frank can be micheal's xo. Men and women in the military agree to give up certain rights. one is to medical privacy. this soldier may just ahve personal issue like ED, relationship with family or he may have serious problem which would effect his ability to perform in the field.     • Hi LindaR. Frank isn't a Capt. he's a major and if/when he gets a promotion the next rank would be Lt. Colonel which is what Joan is. Joan was Michaels right hand woman and there would be no reason Frank couldn't be now that that position is open. We'll just have to wait and see, but I think he's gonna stay on post working with Michael and not have to deploy. I understand Joans concern, but I think the soldier should be able to expect doctor/patient confidentiality like everyone else.       • Day is doing exactly as his commanding officer said, either come to him or go to a doctor. I don't think Day is hiding it, just feels more comfortable going to a doctor off post. In Trevor's case he didn't push the envelope, he busted it wide open...LOL. I don't look at Trevor's case as an exception rather a case of Joan and others covering up his drug issue, and he got a promotion to Corporal out of it. Not good military practice on Joan's part or anyone else that was aware of it. Great scene with Michael and Emmalyn and I sure hope she's out of her brat stage, it was taxing my brain. And I have to say it, they really need to do something with Claudia Joy, she's just way too perfect and it really gets annoying after awhile. I mean come on she's on an Airforce plane to a foreign country yet she remembers to call home to remind them to take the bread out of the freezer, puleeze, hahaha.   • Thank you everyone. I have been having a great time. I did go on a road trip. A 11 1/2 hour road trip which I made with Mom; so there was no Harley this trip. Next year. Yesterday we went to HC for brunch and then some shopping. I think with all the fried food, cake, torts & fudge I've probably gained a few pounds. • Hi I'm not new to the board, but I lurk everyday. I'm a devoted Army Wives fan and my favorite character is Denise. I'm really enjoying Catherine Bell's work in this show and have gone back to check on some of her other work. I'm just now starting to watch Jag. In watching Army Wives I have to say I'm not a fan of Franks. I think he's quite rigid, and emotionally abuse to Denise and Jeremy. And from reading the majority of the posts on the Lifetime board that's pretty much the consensus over there as well. I think they are now going to try and change Frank the rest of this season to get people to like him. I think the writers along with the actors choice of portrayal have really hurt the character and I think they realized their mistake and are trying to fix it.   • Welcome, a lurker. I have always seen Frank as gruff on the outside but a soft touch on the inside. He sort of reacts or leaps first and then thinks afterwards. He is not as rigid as his looks invoke. Balloons for Dee, cooking her dinner, going to see Jeremy at her request, admitting that seeing her at the hospital reminded him of why he fell in love with her, admitting he felt there would be no room for him with all her changes, admitted she was changing and he couldn't keep up. This shows a vulnerable, unsure side of Frank. His bravado front belies a deep down insecurity. I think they made Frank into more of a jerk to justify Denise's attraction to other men. Season One's Frank was softening up just before he was deployed. I see Frank as trying to be controlling more than abusive. He is trying for order in his life, which Denise has decided she no longer wishes to cater to. I find Chase more abusive than Frank. It took him weeks and the only reason he went was because he was deploying and Denise told him it would be a good idea for him to do so before he leaves.     • Sorry that should be 20 years not 29. Frank has been in the military for over 20 years. I think as far as looks go you're picking up on Terry Serpicos comments in his interview, which I think are making excuses for his scowling all the time. I don't see any value that he puts on Denise, on what she's contibuted to both his career and personally. Frank has been an all about me guy since the shows inception and he's very cold, bossy and aggressive. They've got alot of work to do in my opinion to fix this guy and even then the jury is out.     • Hi a lurker, I have always been a Frank supporter. Not everyone is great at expressing certain emotions but I felt a genuine sense of insecurity about him from the beginning in spite of his cranky scowls (and before reading his latest interview). When he smiles he just lights up but unfortunately that does not occur often enough. I think Frank expressed the value he places in Denise when he wanted her to go to that function with him when she was in nursing school. He stated he could not climb the ranks without her. He described her as smart and beautiful and being the whole package to his army buddy. Frank's problem is that he does not articulate that often enough to his wife. Frank sort of hinted to Jeremy that emotions weren't allowed when he was growing up. I think he is following that be a man and men don't cry nonsense which is not really his true persona IMO. • Hi Everyone! I'm a bit late today with my Monday post so sorry about that. Well last night we had episode 8 which had a bit of humor in it to lighten things up and some tribe interaction which is always fun to see. I can't believe we are already through 8 episodes and the filming of Season 3 is drawing to a close on August 5. Wow, is it me or does this year itself seem to be flying by.   Well this week we'll start off with Joan at the shooting range and then coming home for a quick bite of lunch before heading out to the ware games. I really got a good snicker out of Rolands face as he is trying to explain to Joan how he made the ginger shrimp tai dumplings and Joan was so preoccupated with kicking Evans butt she's not paying attention and is unconciously eating them off the plate and then leaves...LOL. Rolands facial expressions were priceless...LOL. And as far as the war games themselves, remember last week I said I had a feeling Joan would figure things out and have a back-up plan in her pocket. WooHoo, I just had a feeling and old Evan buddy got killed in the process...LOL. I sure hope he enjoys his desk job atthe Pentagon and how embarrassing for his snooty wife Jennifer. She did show again she had a heart though when Major Perrill got done making his speech. But still, I think she and Evan got what they deserved. Those too were not honest, trustworthy people and I'm glad they are going.
  
  Well Pamela's shy reserved pupil turned out not to be so shy didn't she. I don't know what it was about her though, she kinda came off a little creepy to me...LOL. But like Pamela said, "It's always the quiet ones". I wonder if Roland's gift was a special pair of edible underwear...LOL...too funny!
  
  As far as Trevor was concerned I just had a feeling he was part of Joan's plan to scuttle Evan when everything went down the way it did. He played his part well and it was fun to see Evan's partner in crime get his snap to at the end as well. And how many of you figured out after Roxy explained to Trevor when he asked, "What are these?" and Roxy said, "They were edible underwear", that Lucky had gotten ahold of them...LOL. I bet any dog owners/lovers new exactly what happened to those delapitated edibles before she even said it...LOL. Too Funny!
  
  Haneen seems to be fitting in at the Holdens very easily and I think they've all grown to care for each other. I think it's going to be very hard on both the Holdens and Haneen when she goes back to Iraq. I have to say that I had tears in my eyes when Major Perrill gave his speech to the ladies at the FRG. It's always so insightful to hear things from the soldiers prospective which sheds a new light on a situation we at home don't always understand and don't see the whole picture. Looking at all the faces in the room, I think they all got it and were very touched by his words. And I have to say it was nice to see Jennifer choked up as well and standing and stating to Claudia Joy that she didn't think they needed a vote. Good on Everyone!
  
  It was great to see Denise and Claudia Joy hanging out alot in this episode. It seems that their friendship/sisterhood is definitely back on track. And I do have to say as well how wonderful it was to see Denise in Nurse mode again. I sure hope she gets another nursing job soon, she's such a natural with such a great repore with patients. I don't want to see all of the characters hard work going back to get her degree and reaching her goal to have it just dropped because then what was the point. It was also great to see Denise and Roland continuing to be the great friends they've become since Season 1. And can I just say that Denise and Roland's friendship has actually become my most favorite out of the whole group. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but there just seems to be such a special bond and special communication and closeness between these two. Almost a brother/sister type relationship. And of course it's alway nice to see the whole tribe together, even if last night wasn't a real long scene. The Bond Is Back! Not alot of Denise and Frank this week, but I do hope we get to see more talking and counceling between these two in future episodes, because I think they need it. And I'm still holding out that Frank is going to come clean to Denise on his indescretion with Jordanna. I hope they don't just sweep it under the rug, we'll have to see. On one final note, I have to say that I just love Denise's wardrobe this Season. Such beautiful dresses and sundresses and beautiful tops as well and awesome colors. Way to go wardrobe department (can you tell I love clothes...LOL).
  
  From the previews next week, alot of stuff happening again and also saw a motorcycle in the previews. I'm not sure if it's next weeks episode, because we all know how good programming is with throwing scenes in there that are from a totally different episode...LOL, but I think it may be Denise and Frank. That would be so cool! And Denise's excitement and "I'm so happy for you response" seems to bode well for a promotion for Frank IMHO, what do you think.

  • Alright its Mondays post of the show. Another fun post KH and they sure are appreciated. I agree totally on eveything you said. Not alot of Roxy, which is ok in my book because she tends to grate on my nerves. I too love Denise and Rolands friendship, its so easy. I think the hospital should come begging Denise to come back to work, haha. Frank, ehhhh, still don't like him and I agree he needs to verbally come clean with Denise about his bedtime smooch and roommate for a night, but alas they'll probably let him get away with it. The motorcycle looks cool, but I sure hope she get's too keep hers. Joan was too cool kicking Evans six and we can now say bye bye to the Connors. As far as Frank getting a promotion I agree.   • Hey KH, thanks again for another insightful review. Had fun watching this epi. The houseware party expressions were well worth the price of admission alone and seeing Joan in action. Excellent casting once again and very well written. From the time Roland encouraged Denise to go back to nursing school I noticed a special friendship between the two. I love the way Roland is part of the female tribe yet still draws the line at how far a guy will go. It makes the whole hanging out thing realistic. How is Denise affording to live in a motel indefinitely, wouldn't that be quite costly? Roland's counsel to Denise was right on the money. I was wondering how Frank would get pass that visualization myself. I like that Frank is honest enough to voice his fear about not being able to handle another dalliance. I wish Denise countered with her fears about being taken for granted again once the dating trials are over. She needs to give Frank some food for thought as well. They've covered Denise's faults from every angle, but have failed to address Frank's contribution to this troubled marriage as of yet. Like you said and I agree as well, from the very first episode of this show Frank has been penned as a very rigid, stoic, short tempered, insensitive and controlling (alot of these words were used by Denise's lawyer as how she described Frank to him). And I also agree with you in that I too have never seen Frank being a good Husband or Father, that he has treated his family as though they were his troops. That is a major problem in the marriage. He is able to speak up about his insecurities (You're changing and I'm afraid you won't need me, I can't keep up, that he couldn't bear it if there were a next time). I am hoping the counsellor will get him to explore how his insecurity causes him to try to keep a leash on things that is suffocating, as well as help him to admit to his contribution to the failures of this marriage. Frank was stoic, rigid, short tempered, controling and insensitive well before Denise went back to work. Frank ran his household when he got home like his unit. Saying to Jeremy, "Stand up when I'm talking to you", not listening to his son when he tried to express to his dad that he didn't want to be in the military, not listening to his dad when he told him he didn't want to go to West Point. I not only want him to fess up about Jordanna, I want him to fess up to being rigid, unsupportive and not valuing or respecting Denise for who she is and what she wants out of life as well. It's not all about Frank, but to this point I haven't seen him prove to me that what his wife and son want matters to him. Go back and watch an listen to all the communication between this family since the beginning and you'll understand what I'm saying. It still seems to be all about Frank and how he's been wronged by Denise and how she's going to make up for it.               • Yay some discussion. I see where you are coming from wrt Frank but I guess I see things differently. When he first appeared on the scene I said whoa what a stickler but then I started to see subtle hints that this was all a big facade. Am I delusional? Maybe, but I saw how he bit back the emotion as he looked through Amanda's pictures of Jeremy at boot camp. I saw how he still reached out in his own stilted way when Denise told him enough with the silence. How he reached for her hand during Trevor's friend's burial. Yes Frank is flawed as are we all. It is easier to forgive those we love already and I know I probably would have less sympathy for Denise if it was not CB playing that role.                 • I'm not excusing Denise's behavior. Denise has admitted to all of her transgressions and showed remorse and apologized for her mistakes. The show continues to focus on Denise's faults yet ignores Franks. The fact remains Frank hasn't changed, he hasn't acknowledged that he has any responsibility to the breakdown of their marriage. His comment to Jeremy as far as why Denise asked for a seperation adds credence to this. Frank is oblivious to his part in controlling his families wants, needs desires and decisions. Jeremy's examples I've given above. Denise telling him she's having fun riding a motorcycle after work. Frank getting pissed off because he's worried about how it looks for him (again not listening to what she's saying). Because while Frank might be a great soldier he fails miserably on the rest of the fronts as a man. In an interview Terry talked about Frank seeing things black and white and going back to his moral compass about life. Well let me ask you this, where was his moral compass while he was laying on the bed with Jordanna Davis, another soldier is laying on top of him making out. I agree that Frank is being played to be the victim here here just as Denise's behaviour played the victim of a clueless husband. I admit it that Frank is obtuse. He needs things spelled out for him and even then he doesn't get it unless his head is banged up against the wall. We know he is a black and white kind of guy and DEAF to his wife's needs. Why this still is not address in the counselling sessions is beyond me. I agree 100% Frank has to own up to his contribution to the demise of their marriage. It also bugs me that he feels like he is the only injured party in this. Bit sorry I still see an inner sensitivity that is screaming to come out of the guy. Can't wait to see how this all plays out.       • LOL...Jubellant...what I mean is by all the comments I made above I need to see these things from the Frank "character" in order to support him. If I see these things in him then yes there is hope that I'll be able to support Frank. But, if I don't and Denise is made out to be the "only" heavy then I won't be able to support Frank at all. The new writers this Season have been doing a great job cleaning up the mess left behind last year, and I would love to see them continue and do justice to putting the right closure to this storyline and move forward. I don't want them to sweep all of Frank's issues under the rug and make Denise's affair the focal point and only reason for the breakdown in this marriage. Every once in awhile I remember that fun post we made about the reverse scenario with Mac adopting a male figure and having him live down the hall from her etc. Anyways now that I have seen at least the option of hope for Frank if certain terms are met I can go to sleep smiling.
