Subject: We were paying Hill an awful lot of money, and although I believe DW is worth more than Hill, I don't think we should compromise our program with another 10 year contract. I love DW as a coach and recruiter, and they need to extend his present contract, but let's not talk Hill cash until we get to where we want to be instead of prefacing it with a huge contract.
In reply to: West Ram 's message, "In addition to the contract extension, they should bump up his salary to at least the level they were paying Hill if not bump it up 40-50K above what they paid Hill. He's bringing in what we want: good ballplayers who are also student athletes. Keep him happy to keep him!" on Tue April 19, 2005 17:03:36
