Subject: Add Trimboli to the Mix

Add another recruiting prospect to the mix for Fordham. We have taken a long, hard look at 6' 2", 170 lb. PG/Combo Guard Mike Trimboli of St.Luke's School in New Canaan, CT. A good shooter, he averaged 27 points and 6 assists per game and was the 2nd highest scorer in the state. He's a tough, hard-nosed competitor who is coached by former Fordham Ram PG Billy Lovett. Lovett also coaches his AAU team, the Fairfield Stars. He visited Vermont early and has interest from San Diego State, Nebraska, Kent State, URI, LaSalle, UTEP, Manhattan, and BU along with Fordham. Trimboli is a full qualifier who scored 1030 on his SAT's.

Also, our interest is picking up in 6' 4" Michael Glover from Monroe in the Bronx. As per my post in the Fall, we have been recruiting him since last summer. Glover averaged 18 points and 8 rebounds per game and can shoot and score. His older brother starred at St. John's.

Keith Mason at NYhoops ranks Glover #12 in met area (as of 1/14/ 05) for Class of '06; he has Austin Wallace at #23; Bethel is #8 for this year's senior class. (NT) -- whm, Fri March 25, 2005 12:03:10
