Subject: Violence in BBall

Did anyone else see the start of the Vermont/Northeastern game yesterday. The NE star, Barea, clearly slugged with a closed fist a VT player who was on the ground in a scrum for the ball. The announcers had it played back several times and there was no doubt of the act or that it was blatantly intentional. The VT player had a welt on his face. The refs watched the play on replay and issued a warning to Barea. The announcers said he should have been thrown out regardless of the fact that he was NE's best player. Rulings as this one give rise to vigilanteeism (spelling). I did not see the entire game so I do not know if VT retaliated, I hope so.
