Subject: Frank and the NIT

Just a point: those who want Frank to step down damage their case when they throw unfounded accusations at him. (BTW, I agree it's time for him to go.) But blaming the NIT selections on him seems to insult the other five people on the board of the NIT, including the AD at Manhattan. Byrnes is frequently praised by posters here and often mentioned as a possible replacement for Frank. Byrnes is currently listed on the NIT website as the President of the NIT committee. And I've heard here that Frank never did well as basketball coach at Harvard. In his last season Harvard was 15-9. Have they done better since? Not by much if they have. Yes, Frank should go, and the bigger problem, Fr. O'Hare, is already gone. When Frank deserves criticism, that's fine, but to blame the NIT selection process entirely on him is ridiculous.
