Subject: Devon 2 - Argaum Chiefs 0 Old Techs 40

Evening Herald Report
THE Chiefs' lack of front row was bettered by the experienced pack of the Old Technicians at Roborough.

Without possession Argaum found the going tough.

Flanker Ty Baker was first off the mark for the Old Boys with Al Trevorrow getting the extras, but after scrum half Matt Jacques ran in from the halfway line to go alongside the posts, Trevorrow missed the conversion.

Second Row Gary Holley enjoyed his line-out work, and back row men number eight Steve Henwood and Ty Baker's efforts were rewarded with tries while Trevorrow soon made amends improving both touchdowns.

Some strong tackling from the Argaum backs held off the Technicians and Trevorrow added two second half conversions for tries from centre Danny Doyle and winger Rob Gracey.
