Subject: SPORTS DEVELOPMENT PLANNING WORKSHOP

This workshop is suitable for administrators, volunteers and coaches within both the senior and junior sections of the club

* Would your club like more players?

* Would your club like to form, enlarge or develop it's Junior Rugby Section?

* Does your club need more coaches?

* Does your club need to improve it's facilities - floodlights, changing rooms, pitch improvements etc?

* Does you club need more volunteers and administrators?

* Does your club want to gain RFU/Active Sport Seal of Approval status?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES your club will benefit from
you attending this workshop.

By the end of this workshop you will understand:

* The principles of sports development and performance pathways - so your players can keep improving.

* The principles of a planning process - so you know where to start, and what to do next.

* How to write a sports development plan for your own club - so your club knows where it is going, and how it is going to get there.

The workshop will be held at three venues led by one of Sport England's most experienced tutors - all of them are absolutely free.

* Barnstaple RFC - Tues 18th November 2003, 6.30pm-9.30pm

* Plymouth Albion RFC - Tues 25th November 2003, 6.30pm-9.30pm
