Subject: Devon 2 - Plymouth Argaum...20 St Columba...3

Evening Herald Report
Argaum presented Tommy Cooper with a win, before the club stalwart and player for 22 years, hangs up his boots and moves out of the area.

A testimonial game is arranged for next weekend and any old Argaum players are welcome to attend.

After Phil Morgan had put his side ahead with a try after 15 minutes, Dave Oakley responded with a penalty, before the forwards set up scrum-half Danny Morgan for a try to go to the break, 10-3 ahead.

The Saints faced the wind and the Roborough slope in the second half, and centre Darren Wills completed a move across the Argaum threes, before second-row Nigel Pinder sealed the win with 10 minutes left.
