Subject: Hi Mel :), I've found that real-life stuff has taken over my world of exciting-new-stories to create and tell in photographs, My neighbor helped me get my shed back in order by rebuilding the thing with me, and teaching me how to do things in the 'carpentry-world'. . . cont.>

. . . Things that I had forgotten, and new things about 'how to rebuild a wooden shed. . . Then there's the lawns that I choose to mow, besides my own, for my neighbors who cannot to the task for themselves. But I do it, with great honor :)
I find myself building and painting 1/35th-scale figures now. Because there is no storyline in my head for Marwencol... I have new buildings, that make a new town, and my imagination is absolutely blank when it comes to drumming up an idea for a shoot with my small folks. . .
It's frustrating. . .
But, I find that my mind's working for little 1/35th-scale scenes to create, and I'm hooked on YouTube now with seeing how other guys paint their figures, and how they make dioramas out of stuff around the house.
Because Mel, model kits are way-cheaper to purchase -still-, and you're right about the prices of 1/6th figures these days. . . It's definitely curbed me away from getting any new characters for my stories ; which are now almost non-existent. . .
Thanks Mel, for asking what we've grown-into as collectors these days :)
Your Friend, Mark
