Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Once again, another of our continuing photo story episodes, so let's get right to it then!
Returning for today is our old friend Warriors 1st BN with the next episode of his cool sci-fi/ fantasy series, The Mission, continued from photo set 3860. If you guys remember from the last episode, the team was joined by a new female ally and they departed the planet they were on through the Stargate together. In this episode, we pick up right where we left off as they arrive on the new planet. Not a lot of action in this one, but Warriors is tying some of the pieces together from previous stories and ends this one with a little more bit of intrigue that I can hardly wait to see more of and what it all means. As always, some cool photos, dialog and special effects stuff from our old friend. So if you've been following Warriors cool Mission storyline like I have, then you won't want to miss this newest episode. Special thanks to Warriors 1st BN for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Well guys, I guess wraps up today's offering. Without a doubt, more cool stuff on the way for tomorrow to check out, so be sure to come on back regular time and take a peek at it. I know I will. Until then... take it lite men.
Sharp Salute!

Ok troops, time for the first site update of the week. Two cool sets to start off with, so let's get right to them.
First up friend and fellow trooper Cbtengr is back with a cool little mini dio for us to check out. This one features two moonshiners, their still and a little display base with backdrop. I think one of these figures might actually be Indy. He makes a perfect moonshiner though. Some excellent work here from Cbtengr without a doubt. And definitely a diorama featuring a subject you don't get to see in 1/6th too much. So if you're into those hillbillies and the moonshinin' then you won't want to miss this cool diorama. Special thanks to Cbtengr for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

And last but not least for today, friend and fellow trooper Oddbod is back with few more of his Civil War photos featuring his Sideshow dudes. In this little mini series are featured General Sherman and one of his Sgts. harshly interrogating a Confederate soldier about the whereabouts of some gold. More cool photos here from Oddbod, so if you're into that Civil War stuff, then definitely be sure to go take a peek at this one. Special thanks to Oddbod for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

- Cbtengr, that is an interesting change, and a really sharp looking vignette. I bet a lot of guys here would like to see a "how to" from you on that double barreled shotgun. Oddbod, always knew old Sherman was an SOB. He marched through our hometown on his way to Atlanta. Really nice looking work. (NT) -- Rich, 17:30:26 08/16/09 Sun
- Cbtengr, WOW !! I Love that still that you built !! The two moonshiners are cool, and that axe in the wood is superb ! That is a very cool looking diorama :) Oddbod, I love how the Federal is screaming at that Confederate soldier !! I like the pistol to the head, and the sword to the throat deal ! I like how this is going :) (NT) -- Hogie309 (HOH), 18:06:29 08/16/09 Sun
- nice job guys that still made me thirsty (NT) -- zman, 18:21:17 08/16/09 Sun
- Cbtengr, I gotta say this- smoking around a cooking still is a death sentance. I made my first run with the family recipie back in 1973- yer STILL looks pretty damn good, one of them high-toned flatlander models. Oddbod, I believe that to be SOP for Sherman to get information if history serves me right... (NT) -- Sgt. Howard, 19:16:02 08/16/09 Sun
- Very cool update, nice job by both of you. (NT) -- 11B1SG, 20:51:35 08/16/09 Sun
- Both very cool sets today! I really liked the still setup and the double barrel shotgun. Some good pictures on the civil war guys. (NT) -- ilaf, 15:38:06 08/17/09 Mon
- Re: Moonshiners !!! That is too much... Another Civil War groupie, cool. Lets sling those binoculars over his head and onto his left shoulder and let them hang on his right side. The pictures look good. (NT) -- CK2, 16:43:04 08/17/09 Mon

Ok troops, time for the last site update of the week. And as promised, another of our continuing story episodes, so let's get right to it!
Returning to wrap up this week is our old friend Hogie309 with the next installment of his WWII Town of Marwencol saga, continued from photo set 3875. In this episode, Graeylin and his fellow Scots take up guard positions against the Dream Killers, the paratroopers are still trying to make their way to Marwencol and we learn the location of Hogie and his tank crew, who have been obviously missing recently. Oh yeah, Medi-Jeep sets off on a trek by himself as well. The final photo leaves us with a bit of a mystery. It will be interesting to see where Hogie is doing to go with that in future episodes. All in all, another fantastic batch of photos from our old friend, you won't want to miss them! Special thanks to Hogie309 for dreaming all of this stuff up for us to enjoy. Sharp Salute!

...were spotted today. Well, just one of them, the Tiger I. So for those of you that collect them, know that the price (atleast on the one I saw) has been increased dramatically. My local hobby shop usually charges max retail, but even so, I'm guessing that they will not be found at Wallyworld pricing any longer. The Tiger I saw stickered for a whopping $80. That's a substantial increase over the $39.95 I paid for the 1/18 Panther at TRU, which is very similar in size. Too bad, because I really liked the 1/18 stuff.

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Two cool sets for today, so let's get right to them both!
First up is our old friend Checkmate King 2. It seems like he gathered up some of his older photos and sent in a submission featuring some of his classic work. Some of you guys might have seen these before, but for those who haven't, they're definitely worth checking out. CK2 at some of his best here. This set features his WWII Navy on a little battleship set that he built along with his Marines loading off the ship and then out in the jungle with their M5 tank. Awesome stuff here for sure, so definitely be sure to check it out! Special thanks to CK2 for sending these classic shots in and sharing them with us. Sharp Salute!

And last but not least for today, our old friend Sgt. Howard is back. It seems like he's been working on a couple projects lately. One is a little building made out of apple crates and the other is his WWII refurbished German motorcycle and sidecar. Of course our old friend Sarge ties it all together with one of his unique mini stories :) I have to say he's done some mighty fine work on both of these projects. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of them in the future that's for sure, when he finally gets to that photo story he's talking about in this one. Special thanks to Sgt. Howard for sending this cool new stuff in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

It sure looked like him :) Outstanding backgrounds, and very, very REAListic action in towards the end :) Sgt. Howard, I LOVE IT !!!!! - CK2, not only are those well done figures, background and layers... to say nothing of posing (recognise your lessons here, Mark? We've been taught by a master), but I noticed NO WRISTJOINTS!!! How many others spotted that? Yea, if it's done right, it's not noticable. (NT) -- Sgt. Howard, 21:09:33 08/12/09 Wed
- CK2 fantastic shots, on sea and land. Sarge that is one cool building for sure. (NT) -- 11B1SG, 21:20:32 08/12/09 Wed
- My intention is to do TWELVE of these structures to create a block of Veireville-sur-Mere as it existed in June of 1944- you are looking at what WILL be the Boloungeré- "Nous Pan du Jour" ("Our Daily Bread"). This will represent late 19th Century 'Neo-Tudorian' or 'Neo-Normandy', where a conventionally built structure is given the half-timbered facial to match into the neighborhood. Three stories when finished, WITH interior lighting and details. (NT) -- Sgt. Howard, 21:42:47 08/12/09 Wed

Ok troops, time for the first site update of the week. And we'll start off with one of our continuing photo stories. So let's get right to it then!
Returning to start off this week is our old friend Irish13 with part 45 of his continuing WWII OSS story starring Lt. Cal Lee, continued from photo set 3858. If you remember from the last episode, ol' Cal was about to be executed by the MPs, but a lone sniper took out their leader, the Major. In this episode, we pick up right where we left off as Cal tries to figure out what to do next. Once again, some really nice photos here from our old friend. So if you've been waiting for the next episode of the adventures of Cal Lee, like I have, then be sure to check out this newest one. Special thanks to Irish13 for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Only one set today and it's another of our continuing photo stories, so let's get right to it!
Returning for today is our friend and fellow trooper Pvt. Mel with part 2 of his cool new WWII story "The Dream", continued from photo set 3876. If you remember from the last episode, a lone US soldier washes up on a shore not knowing where he's at. In this episode, we pick up right where we left off. The GI is still trying to figure out where he is in this one. No action yet, but a lot of cool scenes here from Mel once again. He sure does have a cool location to shoot in here. So if you've been waiting for part 2 of The Dream like I have, then definitely be sure to check this one out. Special thanks to Pvt. Mel for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Guys, I'm clearing out of most of the hobby, pretty much only keeping the squids. Make me a decent offer on a bike, pay true shipping, and it's yours. Check reply for stocks and customs.
I would rather they go out to the gang here, who have been supportive and my friends throught out the years.

- Site Update! -- GreenLeader, 16:38:47 08/05/09 Wed (pool-72-87-32-89.spknwa.btas.verizon.net/72.87.32.89)
Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. I'm running a little low on photos around here, so there's only one set today, but all you fans of the Rangers should like this one (and no, not the hockey team :) So let's get right to it.
Our old friend Zman returns with more of his cool customized / kitbashed figure projects. Here we get three more of his Army Ranger figures. The first is a very sharp looking rifleman that goes along with the last two guys that we saw, from the '80s. Then next up, a very cool modern era Airborne ranger from the Afghanistan of today decked out in his jump gear and finally we move onto another para all decked out in his jump gear, but this time from Grenada. As always, more fantastic work here from ol' Zman and three more figures I wouldn't mind snatching up for my own colletion :) So definitely be sure and check out these cool new projects from our old friend. Special thanks to our old friend Zman for sending these in and sharing them with us. Sharp Salute!

Well guys, I guess that does it for today. Still one more cool site update left in the week though. Not sure what it will be at the moment :) But it will definitely be something. So be sure to come on back regular time and check it out. Until then... take it lite men.
Sharp Salute!

- Zman, I am super impressed. It is obvious how much time and research you put into those guys, and it definately paid off in spades. Where did you find the Ranger scroll on that first guy? Looks great. (NT) -- Rich, 16:50:15 08/05/09 Wed
- Zman, The Airborne Ranger that you created, looks so freakin' tough !!! If I was doing a little more modern of a story, I'd definately be wanting that dude in it !! I love the Ranger tabs on his uniform, and the way you have his cover on his head.... and the headsculpt itself, all make for a really cool looking Ranger !! The second guy is just as cool looking :) I love the straps and parachute, wound up around that guy; it makes him look realistic :) (NT) -- Hogie309 (HOH), 18:20:33 08/05/09 Wed
- The fella in non-cammo fatigues with harness- THAT's what I looked like going out the door in '77. One exit. It was a bad one. I wound up in training in the Medical corps with a cast. Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. And yet again, another of our continuing photo story episodes. So let's get right to it then!
Returning for today is our old friend Irish13 with the next episode of his cool modern era photo story "The GunPoint", continued from photo set 3867. More and more intrigue! I'm going to be a little brief here because I don't want to give any of the storyline away, but if you guys remember from the last couple episodes, one of the first team's members (one of the Brits I believe) opted out of their mission. And then we found out there was yet another team on the ground looking for the same objective. In this episode, we pick up right where we left off with that lone Brit that had been left behind. More cool photos and dialog from our old friend. If you've been following this cool story like I have, then don't miss this terrific new episode. Special thanks to Irish13 for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Only one set again today and it's another photo story episode. A beginning to a new one though, this time. So let's get right to it!
Returning for today is our old friend Pvt. Mel with part 1 of his cool new WWII photo story entitled "The Dream". It looks like we have another inspired story teller in our midst and I have to say Mel hooked me right from his opening paragraph before I'd even seen any of the photos. Of course, he's taken some great photos here to go along with that text. I think he said the location is his fishing camp, which I have to say is a very awesome looking place. I can't wait to see the next part of this one, that's for sure because Mel's done a really sharp job on this part 1. So definitely be sure to check this one out! Special thanks to Pvt. Mel for sending this cool new photo story in and sharing it with all of us. Sharp Salute!

I just got to that side of the cellar, and I've got over 30 1/6 bikes, ranging from stock bikes to some of my customs.
So...anyone here looking for something specific? I can post a list of there's interest...
I'm thinking $20 & true shipping for the stocks, and higher on the customs, naturally.

Ok troops, time for the first site update of the week and it's another one of our continuing photo story episodes. So let's get right to it!
Returning again to start off this week is our old friend Hogie309 with the next installment of his WWII Town of Marwencol saga, continued from photo set 3866. In this episode, our friend from the UK, Scott Merry's Bren team arrives in Marwencol. A bunch of new Scots to hang out with fellow Scotsman Graeylin. They even have a hot chick with them as well, all decked out in her Scottish garb. As always, more fantastic photos here from Hogie. I'm really looking forward to seeing what the Bren gun team gets into in upcoming episodes. Also, one of the Mawrencol residents gets sick in this episode. Another fantastic Marwencol set here from our old friend. Definitely don't miss it! Special thanks to Hogie309 for sending this new one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!
