Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Two sharp sets for today, so let's get right to them both!
First up for today, our old friend Warriors 1st BN is back with the next part of his cool fantasy / sci-fi story "The Mission", continued from photo set 3908. If you guys remember from the last episode, the guys left through the portal, taking their new anime girl ally with them. This episode starts off with them bedding down for the night around the campfire. I don't really want to give any of the story away here, but always some great suspense with Warriors' story line here, I'm always left wanting more with each new episode. So if you've been following Warriors' cool story like I have, then you definitely won't want to miss this newest installment. Special thanks to Warriors 1st BN for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

And last but NOT least for today, our old friend Cbtengr sends us in a few shots. It seems he's working on his hobby room and a few of his 1/6th troops joined in to help out. Just some random pics here of the work crews, it looks like Cbtengr has a little bridge in there and everything. A little fun shoot here and some really nice pics in it, so be sure to check this one out! Special thanks to Cbtengr for sending these in and sharing them with us. Sharp Salute!

Well guys, I guess that does it for today. Still one more cool site update left in the week though and I do believe that belongs to Hogie's awesome new Marwencol episode and you won't want to miss it! So be sure to come on back tomorrow and check it out. Until then... take it lite men.
Sharp Salute!

Buzz' post last week recalling the good old days of 21st Century really makes me miss purchasing boxed figures. With no new TUS figures comming, I'm seriouly considering collecting a few Dragon figures and Monkey Depot has some really good deals. How do you guys feel about them?

- While they are no more perfect than the TUS figures, I like them. The uniforms and gear are generally well done and I have gotten to where I modifiy them as much as I did the earlier TUS stuff, The bodies are light weight but don't shelf dive as much as that Super Sam body did, but they do still take the occasional dive. The heads tend to be on the large side though and other brands of head gear will not fit without some modifications. The other helmets do fit though. I mean caps and berets can be super tight. (NT) -- Rich, 13:43:41 09/19/09 Sat
- I've always liked them. Can't take the heavy kid style play like a TUS soldier can but for the adult collector they're better than TUS in a lot of ways IMHO. And what Rich said :) (NT) -- GL, 08:46:53 09/20/09 Sun
- Dragon has better weapons, IMHO. Gun barrels that actually have holes in the ends (insteadt of solid cast), better, smoother wood stocks, beeter slings, etc. In fact, most of the Dragon gear is better detailed, as well as the uniforms. But TUS really got the ball rolling again when they were doing it in 1:6, that's for sure! (NT) -- Sgt. Horvath 1, 13:27:10 09/20/09 Sun

Ok troops, time for the first site update of the week. And we'll start off with one of our continuing photo story episodes, so let's get right to it then!
Up to start off this week is our old friend Hogie309 with the next installment of his WWII Town of Marwencol saga, continued from photo set 3910. In this episode, a new character is introduced, a German sailor by the name of Viktor, who is now rowing his raft into Belgium down the River Mulva. It seems like this poor fellow couldn't stand the war anymore and sabotaged his own ship, so he could go AWOL with no witnesses. Of course, it looks like he's probably going to be heading to Marwencol, which is good because he's a very sharp looking figure. Once again, some terrific photos here from Hogie, so if you've been waiting for the next Marwencol episode, then be sure to check this new one out. Special thanks to Hogie309 for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Well guys, I guess that does it for today. I'm running a little low on photos around here, but definitely some stuff for the next couple days or so anyway, so be sure to come on back tomorrow, regular time and check out what our fellow men have in store for us. Until then... take it lite men.
Sharp Salute!

Ok troops, time for the last site update of the week. Two more small sets to wrap it up with, but both pretty cool, especially for you modern era fans. So let's get right to them.
First up for today, our old friend BHD is back. It seems he's been recently reading a book about Tora Bora and about our troops hunting for Bin Laden and got inspired to make a Spec Ops guy from that era. He started I believe with a Sideshow figure, one with a beard and a mustache, since a lot of our Spec Ops guys are trying to look like the locals there, then he's added the robe from the old 21st set and a bunch of other cool stuff. On top of that, he's taken some awesome outdoor photos of him. So definitely be sure to check this one out. Great stuff here from BHD. Special thanks to BHD for sending this cool new project in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!
CLICK HERE to jump to that page.
And last but not least for today, friend and fellow trooper Scott Merry is back with another one of his cool custom / kitbashed figures. Here we get a modern era French Mercenary by the name of Jacques Marteau AKA Jack Hammer. A nice choice of headsculpt, uniform and gear setup on this guy, all the way around. I really thought he looked sharp. Only some photos of him on display here, but if you're into those modern mercs, then you definitely won't want to miss this guy. Special thanks to Scott Merry for sending this cool project in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

Well guys, I guess that wraps up this week. Not exactly sure what I have in the bin for next week, but I'm sure there will be something, so definitely come on back Sunday night/ Monday morning when we'll get this whole thing started up again. Until then... take it lite men.
Have a great weekend guys!
Sharp Salute!

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Only two small sets for today, but both very cool in my opinion, so let's get right to them!
First up for today, our old friend El Paso Trooper is back with more of his fantasy world heroes. The good guys are here this time. Featured here are a very sharp looking female fighter, two male fighters, a cleric and a female sorceress. He even gives us a little background info on each of the characters. All the figures are very nicely done, but I have to say my favorite is definitely that female sorceress, very sharp. So if you're into that D & D type stuff, then you definitely won't want to miss these cool fantasy heroes. Special thanks to El Paso Trooper for sending these cool projects in and sharing them with us. Sharp Salute!

And last but not least for today, our old friend Zman is back with another one of his cool figure projects. Here we get a very sharp looking WWII 506th US Paratrooper, North Africa. This para is all geared up with chute and everything and displayed in a plane doorway diorama. Once again, some awesome work from ol' Zman. One very sharp looking paratrooper here, without a doubt. Another excellent project from our old friend. So if you're into that WWII stuff, be sure to check this guy out! Special thanks to Zman for sending this terrific project in and sharing it with us. - EPT, I siding with old Del The Deranged! Great looking fantasy crowd. Looks like you did a lot of work on those outifits. Zman, that 509th guy really looks fantastic. All that you did really paid off. BTW, thanks for sharing that info with me earlier too. (NT) -- Rich, 17:32:42 09/16/09 Wed
- El Paso Trooper, I love your Leigha and Arabella figures !! I like the other characters also, and the short story for each one of them :) I love the outfits on all of them ! Zman, that is the most detailed para-trooper that I've ever seen !! He wearing alot of very realistic gear, and I love how you have him standing in the door of the C-47 !!! Very realistically done :) (NT) -- Hogie309 (HOH), 17:48:09 09/16/09 Wed
- Cool Figures guys, The fantasy figs look great EPT. The sorc just needs a little imp or something and she'd be perfect. Zman the para is really nice too, I wish I had grabbed the door frames when they were everywhere (and cheap lol) (NT) --

- El Paso, there's a delightfully rowdy crowd to play with. I think the mad monk is a worthy concern... Zman, what can I say? The T-10 parachute hasn't changed a lick since 1943- althoe that's probably the T-9 if he's jumping into Africa, right? The T-9 is silk, the T-10 is nylon... otherwise, they are identical. - Great figuers guys!!! I really like Leigha. :-) (NT) -- Warriors 1st BN, 21:30:22 09/16/09 Wed
- Zman that's a great looking paratrooper you have there! Thanks for the kind words everyone! For Leigha's and Arabella's outfits the only credit I can take is that of commissioning them. The true artists are kellysheros of fantasynet who did Leigha's outfit and Paul and Laura of Warlords Keep who made Arabella's outfit. I agree with you oki that Arabella needs a familiar, I just haven't found the right critter yet. More pics coming soon! (NT) -- El Paso Trooper HoH, 21:35:21 09/16/09 Wed

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Again, only one set today, but it's another of our continuing story episodes, so let's get right to it then!
Returning for today is our old friend Irish13 with the next part of his cool modern era photo story "The Gun Point", continued from photo set 3892. Well if you guys remember, there's a merc. team out there searching for some renegade Marine and we learned there is also another team out there searching for the same target and both of these teams are suspicious of the other. In this episode, that comes to a head as the headstrong Russian on the merc. team decides to take matters into his own hands. Another great episode here from ol' Irish, I'm really liking this storyline from him. So if you've been following this story, then be sure to check out this terrific new episode. Special thanks to Irish13 for sending this cool new one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

- Irish, now THAT, was alot of action !!!! I loved it !! I like the way that you show everyone of your acter's character, by your professionally manufactured dialogue :) I like how you filmed the Russian changing his weapon, and I like how I'm so confused now, as to who's good and who's bad in this motion picture in stills of yours, hehehe. That's why I like your stuff 'ol buddy, because you always leave me guessing... and that's a sign of a great movie director !! :) (NT) -- Hogie309 (HOH), 19:15:06 09/15/09 Tue

Ok troops, time for the first site update of the week. Let's start off with one of our weekly story episodes.
Up to start off this week is our old friend Hogie309 with the next installment of his WWII Town of Marwencol saga, continued from photo set 3905. If you remember from the past episode, Hitler is now a captive of the Marwencol crew. In this episode, he rears his ugly mug again. Also, a scantily clad Deja in her new custom outfit takes a stroll through town and causes all kinds of head turning and even some mishaps, thanks to that outfit :) Another great batch of photos here from ol' Hogie as usual. His poses are always so cool. So if you've been waiting for the next Marwencol episode like I have, then be sure to check out this newest installment . Special thanks to Hogie309 for sending this one in and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

- Thank You GL and Fellas, for enjoying this episode. I actually forgot to put a top on Deja, and I didn't notice it until after Hayden kicked Hitler in the franks and beans... So, the Sienfeld episode with Sue Ellen Mischke, the Hieress to the O'Henry candy bar company, walking down a street in NYC, and Jerry and Kramer being distracted.... Grandsport and 11B1SG were already in a Jeep uptown, and ilaf, Rich, and Ranger were stopped in front of the bank, trying to get a good glimpse of the Dames of Marwencol....and that's when I set it up, like 'that' Sienfeld episode :) (NT) -- Hogie309 (HOH), 18:45:57 09/14/09 Mon

Ok troops, time for another cool site update from our fellow men in the field. Only one set today, but lots of stuff to see in it. Lots of cool stuff! So let's get right to it then.
It seems our old friend Checkmate King 2 and his Cincinnati Collector Club members discovered a cool model railroad museum nearby and decided to grab some of their figures and pay the place a visit. Of course to use their cool railroad diorama stuff as backdrops for their figures. CK2 brought along one of his cowboys, a gangster and his Confederates, Panzer Commander brought his WWII Germans and Russians, Mark K brought his SWAT, Hammer Six brought his Germans and his 88 cannon, and Tim brought along a couple Navy SEALs. Of course, like I said, they all used backgrounds of the museum, indoors and out to set up their scenes on and I have to say they're awesome looking. A ton of great looking figures and a ton of great looking setups. Some fantastic work from the Cincinnati guys once again. Definitely don't miss this one. Special thanks to Checkmate King 2 and the gang for sending in this cool get together and sharing it with us. Sharp Salute!

- OK..... I owe someone an Apology!! -- GreenLeader, 07:00:52 09/15/09 Tue (pool-72-87-32-89.spknwa.btas.verizon.net/72.87.32.89)
I recently deleted a post from a former trader by the name of Lil' Tex, aka Jon Anders, and decribed him in a post below as a "deadbeat trader". He did indeed have a trade incident 5 yrs ago and I guess that's how his name got onto my list as well as others. I have learned though that this was his only bad trade and it was resolved in the end. The 2 parties involved have slightly contradicting accounts of the incident to be sure but both do admit that the trade WAS resolved.
So a formal apology to Jon is warranted I feel for any mis-characterization on my part.
My apologies Jon! You will have no further problems here.
Sidenote:
You guys really need to contact me if you have a bad trader incident that has been resolved because I have no way of knowing if it has or not. I put these people on my list because of your comments and if your trade is resolved I feel like it's you duty to clear this person's name. Ok so maybe your bad trader isn't HoH material but as long as he resolves a trade in some way then he is not a deadbeat trader and shouldn't be labeled as one(just because you're still po'd) unless he is a repeat offender. Cool? I mean Jon has obviously been on my list for 5 years and was never removed because no one ever followed up with me.
Oh yeah and although Jon is unaware of any previous unresolved trades that he might have he is willing to make good if you have proof that you 2 did indeed have an unresolved trade. So if you have one speak up and I will put you in contact with him.
Sharp salute!
