Subject: Graeylin's Military Trivia

Well, we are getting closer to Monday's answer, but the answer is NOT a mythical creature, it is a real, life animal that is responsible. Another hint: although I can't prove it, I would guess than the great General Hannibal might have lost a few soldiers in a similar manner.

Tuesday's question is still open: the guesses about tonfas, billy clubs, and bo sticks are good, but not quite correct. A lot of police forces across the world are issued some type of club or baton. I'll give you a clue on this one too: It has to do with the type of firearm that the Japanese police are issued.

Finally, today's question:

The CSS Shenandoah was one of the best Naval “pirates” for the confederacy during the war, capturing 38 Union ships. However, over 2/3rds of her captures of Union Vessels don’t count towards her records. How come?
