Not quite like that, but this year would have been my dad's 100th birthday too. He was born June 18, 1917, just a couple of months after the battle of Vimy Ridge in WWI....

He joined the Canadian army in 1942, and was in Normandy, Belgium, and the liberation of Holland....

I will remember him until the day I am gone.....
