Subject: We lost

16-3 winning then a red card ended it for us.

Referee playing the new laws, repeated offence == red card so we cant complain.

However we CAN complain about him ignoring a string of 5 penalties against pontypridd without as much as a yellow again them second half. If they are going to apply the laws they have to apply them to both teams. This bloke didnt, listened to Macintosh instead of watching the game and it cost us dearly.
Lots of comments over the PA system about being nice to refs but its hard to be nice to someone thats stolen a victory off you.

That said we went to pieces in the end, woefully inept tackling let in soft tries and the full back looked dead on his feet towards the end.

In short, we lost to an extremely poor and limited side.

  - Red card wont hurt sale chances. It wont be a ban, just an over zealous ref playing the new rules. Total inconsistency with referees not applying the same laws to both sides once again affects the outcome of matches (NT) -- -, 14:19:41 01/16/05 Sun
