A solid 2-2? Since he was not x-rayed prior to the first US appraisal where did you have to send those x-rays to get them evaluated? What was wrong with a good old USA evaluation by Penn HIP or OFA (I think we know the answer to that one). A test breeding to see what he produced? Anyone cares to believe that story is welcome. Recent information from South Africa indicates that even their 0-0 scores cover a range from excellent to fair, anything worse than 0-0 is definitely into the poor catagory. You can breed 'em if you want to, I require better than that from my dogs.
If you are going to try to discredit me with my Bordeaux-AB breedings at least get it straight. 3 bitches, not four. Bred to 3 different males-all belonging to a breeder in Kansas City and all had sperm tests done. Each bitch had been bred three different times, once each to each of the males. Natural breedings, artificial insemenations, and even surgical implantation of the sperm into the ovaries. Not a single pregnancy. Before I shipped my grown bitches off air freight, and paid a $1,000 stud fee to breed to a different male across the country, I wanted to know if my bitches were sterile or not. They came into heat. I had a proven male on the place, an American Bulldog. I bred them, they had pups. I sold, or gave away, all the pups and identified them as cross bred. I guess today they would call them ban dogs. At any rate, I found out what I needed to know and everyone who got one of the puppies knew what he was getting. By the way, neither the stud or any of the bitches were dysplastic.
