Greetings Des,
Thank you for those kind words with regards to Kathleens health it is greatly appreciated.
I have collected Post Cards now for many years, when I was at sea I used to buy a few from each port that I visited in addition to the ones from family & friends & never throw away any stamp the ones that dont particularly interest me I save for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
One person said to me a long time ago why do collect little peices of paper meaning the stamps, my reply to that was because they are beautifull peices of paper.
I have a large collection of British, Isle of Man stamps & First Day Covers as well a lot of ships Stamps, my worry is what will happen to them when I am gone as there isn't anyone in all of my family who is remotely interested in stamps, seriousley thinking of selling them & both my wife & I having a good holiday on what ever I make.
