Hi Dave.
Don't know if this is any help. I was on a BP tanker in Batone Rouge to load kerosene for Holland after a cargo of crude, The scientists at the refinery made us reclean them, then said that three wing tanks were still contaminated, but as time was money; they would put a different grade in that would alter on the way across the Atlantic. When we reached Rotterdam only one of the tanks was still contaminated. I doubt if they would have dumped the Jet fuel, more likley to have rerefined it.
