What has been discussed here is being discussed on websites across the UK. The points mentioned are all very valid, the problem with them is that the government – all Parties - has completely lost touch with the opinions and needs of the people they claim to represent. One problem that is underrepresented is the problem not of immigration, but of emigration. The country is haemorrhaging young people with skill and older people with money. One of the biggest problems exists within the benefits system, a system that rewards failure and penalises work. It is probably illegal for me to say that a system that pays the wife of a terrorist £25000 p.a but throws a pensioner in prison for objecting, is not a system the British people want. A system that makes it financially unviable for a young person to get a job, rather than benefits is not a system the British people want. A system that makes it a criminal offence for people to live together is not a system the British people want. So why do the politicians persist in creating such a system? Perhaps it is because people persist in voting for them?
