I am also a souvenier hunter & have quite a lot memorabelia in my colection, 2 MN Discharge Books, 1 Red Seamans ID Card,12 full British passports,my original little red driving licence, my old paper licence & now my new one recently issued,a Nigerian D licence, a Zambian D licence & a Mobil & Agip D licences,my employment service card for my contract in Zambia, a leather backed photo album bought in BA on my first trip, a Jewel case & paper knife bought in Japan,a box of post cards a couple of which I bought in each port that I visited, an extract.
from the ships log/passenger list & a Sports & entertainment program all from the "Edinburgh Castle" Ticket stubs & other items of my wifes when she flew to Singapore to join me while working there, security card for the Orchard Hotel Singapore, Club membership card for Kasim Marine Terminal Indonesia, Shell swimming passport, British Caledonion Chieftain Club card, KLM Flying Blue Card,& various ID/Security cards & business cards from from my overseas contracts.
These are the ones that come to mind but I am sure that if I went through all my office/study I would find more.
Oh thousands of phots.
When I have completed my write up about "My Life & Travels I am going to put it in a box along with all my memorabelia with a label on the outside saying my life in box.
As one member said it is nice to look at these things once in awhile as they all bring back very nice memories,
Best wishes to all,
John Aspin (Ormesby-Middlesbrough)
