dear rachel. you probably do not remember the war but we do!. my uncle was in jap hands for three and a half years building the burma road. he came home on a strecher. he was one of the unlucky ones, he didn't die. the japs were proud to state that they didn't believe in the geneva convention and most of the red cross parcels were given to their troops.it is also on record that they ate some prisoners.
