Well dont think that the Design would really have much to do with all these disators,as i am sure all these Modern day vessels are well made.
As for the Crew etc,well may be there is room for improvement in a lot of places,but this latest one ,well as you know that couldnt have been avoided,as that was just an act of God i feel!! Just my opinion!
Yes and the Global warming i feel is definately a big factor these days in everything that is happening around the World (Weather related that is)
Take an example here in Aussie,been here for some 29 years now,and never seen such fierce Storms,and Rain etc and seems every year its getting worse!!
Heaven help us!!
Whats in store for our poor Children !!
