In autumn of 2000 TV Land did a weekend marathon of MTS and two of the episodes were "Woman's Work" (January 7, 1965), and "Here Comes Uncle Charly" (January 14, 1965). I taped them both and still have the tape, but I was away at work so the commercials were left in. Anyway,In the former, which was Frawley's swan song, there is a moment early on that I find rather poignant. Bub is packing in his room, getting ready to leave for Ireland. It wasn't yet indicated in the script that Bub wouldn't be returning, but in this moment Bub and Chip look at each other for a moment, as if they both know they would never see each other again. Very touching!
