Subject: I had to check the clip because I didnīt remember that one. I think it was a joke because Mac says something about having read Alicia's paper. She (Alicia) plays the (false) modesty card by saying Mac was the one - as in *ONLY* one - who read it. Though you can also take that as a double entendre, I doubt it was meant to indicate Harm had told Alicia he had feelings for Mac. He may have mentioned Mac in passing and Alicia picked up on the vibes. I can buy that. If I remember correctly, Alicia was brought in to be a possible Harm's SO. Since he and Mac were not an item, I just donīt see him telling Alicia that to keep her at armīs length. I think Harm was interested in Alicia. Maybe interested is not the right word. Let me see a comparison better explains what I mean >>>>>

For those familiar with Moonlighting, towards the end of the show, David meets a woman (a blond with curly hair. Canīt remember the character's name). She is intelligent, fun, sex with her is good too. But, most of all, things with her are simple, as opposed to the neverending melodrama of being in love with Maddie. He was growing tired of that and the new fling was invigorating, a fresh start on the romance front. A relationship without baggage was tempting and he almost went for it. In hindsight, thatīs how I see the Harm/Alicia thing. Even Mac thought Harm had moved on. Of course we never saw any of that with Harm/Alicia because TPTB never developed the story - THANK GOODNESS!!!

[> The double meaning was definitely there. Its alarming and pathetic that Alicia looks like duckface Renee all over again. The neverending games from TPTB. At times they really preach to the choir Harm and Mac loves each other and then resort back to the undercover freudian slips and ferris wheels. -- Shania, 20:42:21 01/26/10 Tue
