Subject: I had a JAG moment!!

I've been sent off to boarding school for two weeks. If I didn't know better ~~cough~~ I'd think the boss hates me. Three different air-planes and then a bus to the middle of no-where Virginia. Who knew there even was a middle of no-where Virginia? I do... now.

Anyway a wasp tagged along on the bus ride from Salisbury to here. Dang thing was angry and dive-bombing us. We tried to elect someone to kill it. The other lone female and I immediately pulled the "female" card. Oh, yes, we did. One guy just ignored us.... the wuss. The other guy told us he had been petrified of bees and wasps since childhood and that if he missed he would ...."scream like a school girl!". Funny thing is that if you could picture Tiner now, with a few years of practicing law under his belt, I bet he'd be just like this guy. I'd like to report that our "Tiner" got himself together and rid us of that creature. Our hero! Gosh I miss JAG.

On another note, the first thing they told us in class was "Do not run on the run-way!" The thought hadn't crossed my mind, go figure, but guess where I'm about to go.. What? I've been here a week, got another to go and I am bored to death!!! LOLOL!!!

1) If you try to run on the run-way a lot of sirens and bells go off.

2) You don't want the sirens and bells to go off.

3) Propping doors open upsets security and causes the Program Administrator to come to class and state "I know that none of my little angels propped the door open."

4) A ratio of 2::12 of women to men is not enough to keep men from reverting to little boys. It has been a while since I've had to put up with "who can tell the grossest stories" and "who can tell the dirtiest jokes" at the dinner table. Don't miss that.

5) Two weeks is all it takes for adults to revert to college mode. Class all day and then booze and cards in the dorm all night. Woot! Wish I was a drinkin' woman.

6) I kinda know how Mac felt when she wanted to take a moment when leaving Paraguay. It has been rough in ways (hellish, even) but I'm going to miss this place and these people. We've been through a lot together. Even signed up for the advance course - I think I need my head examined. LOL!

7) Never admit to propping the door open.
