Subject: I WISH I could get "Into" this Show..I have tried watching it several times..But..I find Her character to be "Flat"...I am not seeing emotions..and the supporting characters don't seem to play to her character..Help me out here..WHAT am I missing???

We found out that she thought her parents were dead when they were not and that she was a foster child and that all of ithad an effect onher. I think it is amazing that she was able to go so far (they usually don't portray these kids as having much of a chance in life--sad, but that's how they do it); nevertheless, she is a bit cynical, reserved and distant because of her background.
