I stuck to my plan yesterday too, and like you, I'm up a pound this morning. I knew I shouldn't have weighed! Anyway, I think I had the exact opposite problem you had yesterday... I think I ate too much -- all legal food but I ate too much of it (which isn't hard to do considering the small amount of calories I'm supposed to be having at my weight & the large amount of calorie content in high-protein foods). Trust me, Sherry, enjoy being able to eat so many while it lasts.

Another thing, I try not to complain about the TOM factor, because there is very little I can do about it, and also it just feels like I'm whining. Additionally, I know myself and my tendency to stall or gain has more to do with my cheating than anything else. But right now, I honestly think it really has something to do with my weight this morning because I feel like a giant water balloon. 2nd day is the hardest for me, so I guess I just have to suck it up and plow through it! Hope we both do well today & stay true to our plans!

  • I get the same sort of mental block about "living off my fat". It's part of my whole "don't deserve to eat, you're too fat" thing. Just hang in there. Remember that you couldn't have "really" gained a pound or two overnight and that it is most likely water weight. Do you use fitday? I enter all of the food that I plan to eat first thing every morning so that I can adjust my intakes up or down. (NT) -- Katie, 07:56:09 05/22/02 Wed
