Subject: I get the same sort of mental block about "living off my fat". It's part of my whole "don't deserve to eat, you're too fat" thing. Just hang in there. Remember that you couldn't have "really" gained a pound or two overnight and that it is most likely water weight. Do you use fitday? I enter all of the food that I plan to eat first thing every morning so that I can adjust my intakes up or down.

  • Have you tried using the goals in fitday? They let you set calorie/carb goals so that you can check over a period of time and see if you're averaging out to where you need to be. I just read Laura Richard's book and the calories to lose are 10 - 12 times your current body weight. I set those for my goal range and even though I might be a little low or high from day to day the averages look good. (NT) -- Katie, 06:24:35 05/23/02 Thu
