Subject: Sarah please remember that Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant. Yes, it is commonly prescribed to get rid of nicotine cravings. I've heard it works for some for thier food cravings, although I've never seen it prescribed for that sole purpose. There is no magic pill, & requesting a prescription for a psycho-active drug to possibly control your food cravings is a very serious decision that should require much information and thought.
In reply to: Sarah 's message, "I totally agree with YOU! I work with this drug in my Smoking Cessation Groups that I facilitate along with the Patch we have double the success rate in quitting. It is on the expensive side but if a person has a good drug plan then by all means Go for It!" on 17:14:07 06/07/02 Fri
