  • Many doctors of diabetics ARE recommending low carb. There is a forward in the beginning of the Suzanne Somers diet book that was written by either a doctor or a nutritionist (I can't remember which), and she talked about the diet they were always putting diabetics on and how it didn't work. How it would make their condition worse, and when that happened, the patient would come back in worse shape and the doctors would essentially call the patient a liar for saying they stuck to plan. I guess this happened enough times that she saw the light and started recommending low carb. (NT) -- Sherry, 09:06:52 08/07/02 Wed
