What is intense about it is the daily discipline. The excercise routines aren't all that difficult. Probably not more difficult than what you are already doing at the gym. Just making that decision that you are going to get up every day and do one of three different types of excercise (upper body, lower body or aerobics) and then doing it, well that gets intense on days when you don't want to, but knowing in advance that you WILL do it, makes it just a matter of habit.

So far it hasn't been near as hard as I worried that it would be. I started by worrying about doing this thing for 12 weeks. It sounded impossible. What we have to remember is that we don't live 12 weeks at a time, we live one day at a time, and all I have to do is do one excercise routine today. Tomorrow I will do one for tomorrow. I don't have to do it for 12 weeks, all I have to do is one a day.

I don't know if that makes much sense or not, but looking at it as a big chunk was much more scary than looking at it daily is. I guess it is like alcoholics taking "one day at a time". I can handle one day's excercise program, can't you? If I start to think about 11 more weeks to go or something I might start to get scared, so I don't think that way.
