Subject: Some newbie questions

Hi all,

I'm extremely new to this, and I have a couple of questions. I'm trying to keep my carb intake under 20 grams a day...I'm a little confused though. If I were to eat only meat and eggs say, and then had a bananna(or whatever fruit thats under 20 carbs), would that be counterproductive? Is the limit 20 carbs of any type of food, or should you only stick with atkins allowed foods? Stupid question, I know.

Also, can anyone recommend a good desert that doesn't require an oven?

One more....My work makes it difficult for me to have a sit down meal, or even eat anything decent...will protein shakes with a fat additive(olive oil, etc) be sufficient?

Thanks a lot
