CKD is cyclical ketogenic dieting, basically you do Atkins Induction during the week then on the weekends you have carb up days. this only works if you incorporate a strict workout regimen that depletes your muscles of glycogen during the week. then on the weekends the carbs you eat are used to rebuild and replenish your muscles rather that being stored as fat. there are two books associated with CKD - "the Ketogenic Diet' by Lyle McDonald and "BodyOpus" by dan Duchaine.

BFL is Body for Life, it is a fitness and nutrition plan developed by Bill Phillips (owner of EAS). He has a book that details a specific workout routine and diet plan. He advocates high carb/low fat dieting, but many people have incoporated a low carb diet with his workout plans.

here are a few webpages

http://www.bodyforlife.com -official BFL page

http://forum.lowcarber.org - look under the exercise forum for message boards dedicated to CKD and BFL (low carb).
