Hello Kel-
Well, welcome to the world of unfashionable clothes for the regular size woman!!
I think this has been an issue since the beginning of time.
From experience, I can tell you that not even the companies that are supposed to make clothes for the average size woman are getting it right.
I have to wear business attire to work...and its been a great struggle for me to find clothes that fit right. Sometimes the top is too small when the bottom (either pants or skirts) is perfect!! I have big boobs and nice size hips. So when I try stuff on, I look "boxy". I have to find clothes that fit me comfortably, but at the same time, I don't want to look matronly. I am only 30 for crying out loud!!
I have found (throughout the years) pieces that fit me "right". So what I do now, I mix and match...I try to take care of my favorite clothes, the ones the ones that fit me the way I want them to fit, because I never know when I am going to find something that compliments my body instead of hiding it under folds of unfashionable fabric and style.

bye
Zoe (Moody)

  • From what I've seen, a lot of teenagers are pretty fat and out of shape. They wear that kind of clothes anyway. Gross I know, I don't understand it, but it is what I've seen (NT) -- Sherry, 09:15:07 07/24/02 Wed
  • I know I've seen it too, and it is so sloppy looking! Don't those girls look in the mirror before going out? (NT) -- Kel, 11:03:33 07/24/02 Wed
