Subject: Fruit juice = all of the carbs & none of the fiber
In reply to: Shara 's message, "Many diets fail because of this. Fruit is not all it's hyped up to be. I'm working on the vegetable lists and I'm seeing many that have a fraction of the carbs the fruit has and much more nutritional value. The other big misconception is that 1 cup of fruit = 1 cup of fruit juice. Not so, this is considered "ultra fruit". Some has 10 times the carbs as the actual fruit and many have added sugar. I'll stick to my veggies and an occassional piece of fruit. I'm glad you liked the tables!" on 11:21:12 07/25/02 Thu
