You didn't insult me, I just didn't know where you were coming from. I don't watch her often enough to know what she's like, but the times I have I've always liked her fairly well.

I'm sure race and diet are both subjects that mean a lot to her. Today she interviewed the husband of the man whose wife killed their five children.

I'm sure most of those talk show hosts do a lot for ratings, but I think her show is a lot more tasteful than some I have seen.

I never used to watch day time television I was always too busy working during those hours and when I was home I had better things to do than watch TV.

Now that I'm getting paid (in effect) to watch TV, I see how much garbage is out there during the day. Believe me compared to some of the stuff that is on mid day, Oprah is downright classy.

Between Jerry Springer and that guy who is always doing paternity testing for pregnant teens, and the judges with their "trials", (not to mention soap operas), Oprah actually comes across fairly decent by comparison.
