Subject: expressing shock!!!!!

I am a newbie...still investigating all the info on low carb dieting...and everyday I am more and more convinced that this will be my answer.

I am a college student and I happen to work at a fast food resturant....and in my investigating of the diet I am about to embark on I have become an observists in terms of what is in everything.....and I have to tell u I am shocked at the revelation that everything.....and I do mean everything at the resturant I work in has some form of sugar added to the food!!!!!!

The light goes on and off in my head now...this is why when I eat a sandwhich I feel bloated and lethargic...etc. This is very serious and dangerous in my opinion..I know a couple of customers who are diabetic......and just today I told them that they shouldn't eat there anymore.....I thought they might get irritated..but actually they were grateful for my concern....how in the world did this happen?
Where did we ever think that it is simply ok to overload our societie's food with nitrates and sugars of all kinds..meanwhile marketing them as "good" for u, or my favorite, "heart" healthy?

Well I could babble on and on...I am just so wierded out by all these revelations....can't help but get on my soap box!!!
