Read my post below "Hi Kim" in reply to her post "some signs have slowed down". I quoted a lot of stuff from Protein Power about what a lack of potassium can do to you. We tend to lose a lot of potassium (expecially at the beginning of the diet) and light headedness is one of the symptoms of having your electrolytes (particularly potassium) out of balance.

  • The other thing is that yes, you should be eating more. Eat too little and it could backfire on you, slow your metabolism down so much that your body won't allow any weight loss. Sometimes "forcing" ourselves to eat can be as difficult as forcing ourselves NOT to eat when hungry, but you really don't want to lose muscle or put yourself into starvation mode.
