Subject: You dont have to vary when or how much but you should vary the type of exercise
In reply to: Zoe (Moody) 's message, "How much exercise is enough?" on 13:20:55 07/15/02 Mon

if is a good idea to vary the routine by doing a different type of exercise from time to time. Maybe get a couple different aerobic tapes and pick them from the shelf randomly.

it is good for you body because you cary how the muscles are worked.

When i was lifting weights seriously i had a set schedule - chest and triceps monday and thursday, back and biceps tuesday and friday, off wednesday saturday sunday.

but each day i woudl do a different type of exercise to work the specific body part. If i bench pressed on monday i would do a different chest exercise on thursday.

It keeps the body from getting into a rut.

Now if i only had 2-3 hrs per day to spend in the gym like i did in college i would be much better off
