I've had a couple of people ask why, and I just tell them that I don't handle wheat products well. Even the fast food restaurants will give the burger to you on a plate instead of a bun and that way there's no guilt about throwing food away. Congratulations on your determination. You're right. I've only been on this woe for about a month now, but I have 2 "starving" puppies (aren't they all!) & an adult dog at home & they LOVE the treat of getting the bun from a hamburger for "dessert" after they have had their regular dog food.
