Also, if you're body had been deprived of protein prior to changing to this WOE, your body will be busy building new muscle. This muscle gain can mask fat loss. Since you started recently, take your measurements now, so that you can track your progress more readily." on 05:49:42 06/11/02 Tue

How much do you have to lose all together?

I notice that you were on another weight loss plan last year, had you just switched over to eating whatever you wanted, or were you eating low-fat, etc?

How much water are you drinking?

Are you taking any supplements?

Are you exercising?

How far into induction are you? (Week 2, 3, etc...)

All of these things can affect how much you lose on induction. Plus, like you already said, no two people are the same. I have about 90 pounds left to lose, and I still only lost about 9 pounds on induction. BUT this is 10% of the total weight that I have to lose. Losing about 10% or so during induction is pretty normal.
