Eat some Havarti cheese when you get that ravenous, or stop by the grocery store and buy a piece of fried chicken and remove the skin (and breading).

I remember feeling that way when I was working at my last job. I would get off work about 3:30 and would be simply STARVING. I couldn't go home, had to stop by the market and get some food first. My husband used to think I was nuts, I wouldn't even wait until we got the groceries to the car before I was digging out my piece of cooked chicken and cheese.

I know that your body has to know what it is doing. I think eventually your appetite will settle down some. I'm not nearly like that anymore, but I remember it well.

I lost 50 pounds during that time, so I know that eating wasn't causing a problem, as long as I was eating right.

Maybe you should just give in and eat? Trust that your body knows what it is doing? I know you say you don't lose if you go over a certain amount of calories, but maybe your body is trying to stabilize itself after your previous losses and you need to just stick to low carb and trust that your body will start losing again as long as you stick to it?

I don't know the answers Kel, it just doesn't seem to me like you should have to be putting up with ravenous hunger to lose on this diet.

Too I think it is interesting that I remember going through the same thing, but that I no longer have that feeling, maybe it is just a process you have to get through and come out the other side of?
